This position is based in Eemshave, the Netherlands or in Leer, Germany.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate global transport for cargo and equipment, ensuring flawless execution.
• Handle export documentation and liaise with customs agents and authorities to guarantee compliance.
• Collaborate across departments like Project Operations and Offshore Resources, while building relationships with external partners to streamline logistics.
• Act swiftly on logistics-related concerns or queries, ensuring stakeholders receive professional and effective solutions.
• Optimize transportation logistics in partnership with freight forwarders and service providers.
• Identify and mitigate risks in the logistics chain, keeping operations resilient and efficient.
• Monitor logistics performance and drive improvements aligned with key performance indicators.
• Develop and implement logistics-related policies and procedures to ensure operational excellence.
• Share your expertise and best practices to elevate the team’s capabilities.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in logistics coordination, with a proven track record.
• Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management, international transportation, warehousing, and customs procedures.
• Familiarity with transport regulations, including import/export requirements and handling of dangerous goods.
• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to juggle priorities and adapt to changing demands.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with fluency in English.
• A proactive, hands-on approach and a knack for solving problems under pressure.
• Willingness to travel when needed to ensure operational success.
