We’re on the lookout for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to be part of our client’s team, making a significant impact in the realm of fixed offshore wind projects. You will be involved in working on some of the world’s largest current and upcoming Offshore Windfarm projects in Europe and the USA. You will be supporting engineering scopes across Cables, Foundations,  and EPIC projects- with the opportunity to be involved in tendering for large scale offshore wind projects.

Our client is a well-established company that operates fully-owned vessels with significant lifting capacities. These vessels can handle lifts from cargo barges offshore and offer an efficient operational execution, enabling the company to undertake large-scale and complex projects worldwide.

Your Mission:

•  Develop project-specific drawings and detailed procedures for installation, risk assessment, and other critical elements.
• Take the lead on subcontract scopes, carefully evaluating proposals.
• Strategically plan and execute projects, acting as the senior counterpart for the Project Manager and collaborating with Project Teams and Stakeholders.
• Provide expert guidance to Project Engineers on complex technical matters.
• Dive into project execution preparations and processes, ensuring operational excellence.
• Identify and coordinate project equipment/materials requirements with precision.
• Manage all necessary administrative tasks associated with the project.
• Participate hands-on in offshore tasks as a valuable member of the operation team.

Your Qualifications: 

• Hold a degree in structural engineering, mechanical engineering, marine technology, naval architecture, or a related field at BSc or MSc level.
• Bring a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience within Oil & Gas or Renewables, covering subsea cables, flexible pipe/umbilical installation, marine operations, and heavy lifting/foundations installation.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of working methods, planning, and risk analysis.
• Possess knowledge of standards and relevant rules and regulations in the offshore industry and installation projects.
• Showcase resourcefulness and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Exhibit leadership qualities with a practical approach and excellent communication skills.
