Are you an experienced Subcontracts Specialist ready to take on a key role in the offshore wind industry? We’re looking for a Senior Subcontracts Specialist to join a leading company for a 1-year project, where you’ll be instrumental in driving supply chain management for large-scale offshore wind projects.

About the Company

Our client is a well-established company that operates fully-owned vessels with significant lifting capacities. These vessels can handle lifts from cargo barges offshore and offer an efficient operational execution, enabling the company to undertake large-scale and complex projects worldwide.

Job information

In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and delivering supply chain and subcontract plans for high-value work packages. You’ll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure the successful execution of subcontracts.

Key tasks include:

• Developing comprehensive Supply Chain Management/Subcontract plans for large-scale projects.
•  Managing risks and opportunities, and coordinating manpower planning.
•  Defining supply chain strategies in alignment with project objectives.
•  Leading supplier negotiations to secure the best deals in a timely manner.
•  Conducting commercial and technical bid evaluations.
•  Maintaining strong supplier relationships and conducting performance evaluations.
•  Managing subcontract delivery, variation orders, and ensuring contract close-out.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a technical, commercial, or legal discipline.
• Proven experience in project management, ideally in the energy sector with a focus on SCM and subcontracting.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP (preferably Ariba).
• Leadership skills to motivate and collaborate across teams.
